Very good writing, an enticing story.

I thought this was really good - until I checked the date of the last upload and noticed that you haven't updated since Sepptember 2008. I did think you had the characters down really well and your original character was interesting.

Let me know if you're going to continure with this story or if I should take this off my story marks list as a lost cause.

I have been really enjoying this story. I was relieved that there is a scientific explanation for Ciara and her healing powers as well as the zombies. But, and I'm sorry this is a big but, this chapter doesn't quite work. I'm afraid Ciara is a bit of a Mary Sue. And she appears to have infected Daniel. I can buy his offering to donate a limited amount of blood to save Ciara's life but he does it a bit too easily. Plus the whole "beautiful auburn hair", "lovely shade of emerald green", "his beautiful eyes" and “You are so beautiful” is laying it on a bit thick. And it's a real shame. The whole Daniel manages to relate to the Vampire concept is fine, as is that he gives her hope and a way out. But the above problems have damaged what was a brilliant fic, though not irretrievably. Take a cold shower and de-Mary Sue this chapter and it'll be back on track for the fantastic adventure fic it started as.

I liked the brief sketches that you gave us we moved through the chapter. Perfect summaries with enough, but too much info. Though I think part of the Tok'ra's problem is that because they live for thousands of years they think veerry long term!

I'm sorry you haven't continued this, for whatever reason, but I just thought I'd drop in and say: I like this! SG1 team-y goodness, whump all around, and vampires! What's not to love? The plot is exciting to read, too. I want to find out what happened to Jack, and Ciara sounds interesting, too. If you decide to write more, I'll be your faithful reviewer for the continuation of the story! )

Oh, Ciara was a Druid? I'm loving this now. I've always loved the mythology regarding their reverence of the animals and the journey of the young ones.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

I'm going to go evil and say have Ciara turn him into a demon.

Though the other side is saying that somehow Daniel will talk Ciara into helping him kill Ammut.
