I'm sorry but the setup was so ridiculous, I couldn't take it seriously. None of them seeing each other for six years? Dokka proposing after not seeing someone for six years? The avatar opening up a jeweler shop? Suko abdicating to Iroh? Nope, sorry.

I have to say this, I read this a while ago, but most recently got an account and I TOTALLY love "in the future" stories but this one is definetly the best!

I'm not one to like too mushy fanfics, but this one caught my eye. You spent a lot of time developing your character and spending time to make sure none of the other characters were neglected as well, which was good, as some people WANT to know what happens with the other characters. I think that was the greatest strength yet.

The ending was rather sweet, but it seemed a bit quick, as a lot of your chapters were. I guess that's ok, but I do tend to like the longer chapters best. But it's all preference. So anyway, I just thought that the eding was very sweet and expected from someone like Sokka, but he seemed to get over the fact that he liked Suki TOO fast.

But it's the storyline, and I guess it had to be done.

And now I'm rambling again. Again, your fanfics cease to amaze me. Keep writing!

If I could only use one word to describe this story, I'd fail. I was in utter awe of how amazing this story was, especially when I compared them to the others. This is definitely my favorite from everything you've written so far. It's the most romantic, descriptive, beautiful Tokka piece ever.

There were some sentences I quite enjoyed, especially the ending with the crowd aweing. It's one of those classic endings everyone needs to see but never really does. Whenever you described something in terms of the crowd (i.e. 'the crowd was silent'), I could picture everything more clearly. (Don't know how, but it's true.)

The parts you depicted with Suki were very realistic because she really can't wait for Sokka for forever. She has to think of herself sometimes, too. Very few people can potray Suki as who she really is, and you're one of the special people that can. And the part with the “You were going to propose to the Blind Bandit... You are a devoted fan.” was just something to make me laugh over and over. I usually forget what Toph and Suki aren't supposed to know or haven't been told yet.

Those two are so oblivious, sometimes! God knows how they could misunderstand the 'a mistake' line. It's one of those things people are born knowing! (
