I loved the story. It was nice to see Don appreciated through the eyes of the other agents.

I loved the first Dialogues story, and I love this one, as well.

There is a reason Don Eppes was head of the agency in New Mexico, and currently Senior agent in LA. And only some of that has to do with Charlie. I loved that Charlie was the one who heard all the things the agents said about Don. But, then, Charlie has always known how special Special Agent Don Eppes was.

Great job with this. I love stories that focus on their relationships. So many stories really over exaggerate the problems between Don and Charlie growing up. I have two siblings myself (both exceptionally smart, though not in Charlie's league). Sure we drifted apart when we got out on our own, but we are now close once more. I think it always happens with siblings as they find themselves. When siblings drift, they have to find each other again and you've done a great job showing that process here.

I love how you can write snatches of life so easily - everything just goes along naturally, with the occasional twist, just like life. Everything is so casual, and yet so meaningful. I never get tired of this style. This reminded me perfectly why you're on my Favorites list. :)
