Beautifully written piece. It's also very sad! I would have wanted them to end up together but alas, this movie was a sad movie. It was also terrifying at times. It blew my mind away. Great job!

To be perfectly honest, I don't know why I even read this story in the first place; I know nothing about either the movie or the characters. However, I'm glad that I did read this, and even more glad that you wrote it! After doing a tad bit of research, I was able to appreciate it even more - I'm totally in love with how Nikolai loves Anna. You've got me wishing that they were married. I found a photo of the kiss they shared in the movie. With that limited knowledge about "Eastern Promises", I'm prepared to say that you've captured everything beautifully. Thank you!
