| Sera dy Relandrant chapter 3 . 7/11/2008 Lol, everyone loves reviews! They're just like fat-free ice cream. And it would be pretty odd if your whole story was angsty... kids just don't do angst! I mean they're trapped in a perpetual bubble of cheerfulness, no matter how hard their circumstances are. Well, generally. I don't know anyone in sub-Saharan Africa or Iraq so I can't say about that but if they get enough to eat, someone to play with and someone nice to snuggle up to sometimes then they're pretty happy... I love realistic fics dealing with children - they make me feel all warm and tender inside and hopeful that the world isn't that bad a place after all - but they're extremely hard to find. Most fanfiction including children has either infants or kids around 11 (neither of whom are interesting!) and even when they put in 6 year olds (rarely) I'm left wondering whether they've ever interacted with children. Your Sirius is very realistic, Regulus is adorable and I just want to hug and hold Remus. Btw will you be talking more about his parents and why they let him go? I suspect ulterior motives behind their abandonment... Update soon! |
