FANTASTIC story!

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start with this one. It started out so lighthearted with the boys dodging household items and Dean putting salt in Sam's hair. Then, BAM! Sam is trapped under the heavy bookcase and Dean is desperate, helpless, and ends up holding Sam's hand trying to provide comfort as his brother DIES. Man, you caught the emotion, the helplessness, the utter despair Dean felt as he frantically tried to save Sam. And then the surge of strength brought on by sheer panic and determination. This is definitely one of your most emotionally wrenching stories!

This is so touching, the moment when Dean realizes that what Sam needs more than air is his focus and reassurance. Heart rending without belaboring the point, Dean quickly rejects the scenario and the boys live another day. Maybe luck, maybe Heavenly destiny, or maybe sheer tenacious grit and need. I heart it. ;)

Well that was a new experience for them, One that they never want to repeat. Nice parallel, though, with both brothers having now moved a cabinet after seeing the other one die. They always pull through for each other.

It was a privilege to read this sweet little story. :D I LOVED Sam's premature death scene, you did a beautiful job of it. You also kept the boys well in character without going overboard.

Oh, now that was just AWESOME! It's amazing how you managed to pack so much emotion in such a relatively short story. The part where Dean gives up trying to save Sam in order to just be there to comfort and hold him while he was dying brought tears to my eyes. And Sam trying to speak and Dean knowing just what he wanted to say, and then that final look...wow. Great stuff!

Its just amazing how you wrote what the power of love can do through Dean when it comes to Sam. This was just great.

Great story. First part tear jerker the last part funny

"You think you're the only one who can move a cabinet to save his brother?" Perfect, nice that Dean could repay the favour, and like Sam, it was the thought of losing his brother that gave him the extra impetus to push that bookcase off his little brother, though Sam's was a push with his mind! Was a little worried there as Sam ceased to breathe but knew you wouldn't write a death fic!
