Thank you for this story so much :) - the idea you came up with was in turn used by me at one point in my own humorous story on Despair - "Despair's Psychosomatic Life." I really liked this fic of yours, this idea was refreshing; new and intriguing (though seeming completely obvious, given the nature of both the sisters).

despair's last act in this fanfic reminds me of some of gaiman's other works... but that's aside from the point.

nicely written, though i have some questions about the plot... well, i just found it sort of strange that two of the endless would compete for power over one's soul. it seems as if they're torturing them for pleasure... (idea put into my mind with the line, "if there's anything left by then", as you had delirium say) i mean, of course that does happen in fables and reflections, but it was more of a challenge between the endless than trying to harm someone.
