Hmm. So, once the Wilsons fell apart, where did this version of Jericho end up? Foster care? Or just with his mom, before she died? Is she dead? Admittedly that would be ahead of schedule, but as I recall Joseph and Rose weren't raised together. I know the evil uncle made a very late debut...

The muteness goes back to a kidnapping motivated by Slade's mercenary activities; I was surprised that didn't come up. Especially since Adeline shot Slade's eye out for it and never entirely forgave him, and his mother's opinions would be relevant to Jericho's opinions, even if he was choosing to set them aside.

I'm especially amused by the direction you've taken this so far, since it was his role as season 1 Big Bad *on* Teen Titans that inspired the deterioration of comics Deathstroke from occasional anti-villain to utter psycho. He wound up the kind of dad who put Kryptonite in his daughter's skull. He didn't used to be like that.

I guess this raises the question of whether the oldest brother died following (badly) in his father's footsteps, since this Slade didn't take over a Ravager contract, and where Rose and Adeline are.

To writer: you are vastly underestimating the complexity of sign, and the details of what Jericho has to say will inevitably be lost quite often, but at least he's not deaf, so the others don't have to try to SPEAK it. Even if they learn a lot of individual signs, the grammar is an absolute bitch. I do like the idea of all of them sitting down and *intensely* studying a series of instructional videos over the course of six weeks or so to get a solid base in the language so he'll be able to communicate, but it's obviously going to be an ongoing process. Getting some references to actual sign into the fic doesn't require actually knowing it, just, like, half an hour with Wikipedia and maybe Youtube.

This show's version of Roy is pretty funny. Garth once again raises the question of what the hell Atlantians even eat. Are MOLLUSCS acceptable, mon ami? And who the hell buys groceries at a mall?! There are malls with grocery stores? Holy shit.

I've always been curious as to why fanfictions tend to have Jericho's eyes described as blue, brown, hazel, etc. when every DC version of him has GREEN eyes.

Just something I was hoping you could fill me in on.

Sounds like it was Slade that rescued them...Wonder if Jericho realizes that? Poor Mas y Menos, having such a horrible early life...and they are still early in terms of kid years!

Can't wait to read Bumblebee and Jericho's life explanations! Especially Jericho's...wonder if he is going to tell them the truth since they are laying out every mistake and ashamed part of their past to him...

will you plz continue this story? it's really intersting and your a really good writer and there aren't that many good fanfics with jericho in them and those are my favorite.
