Whole thing made me wanna facepalm

Silly me, I was expecting this fanfic to be about actual rain. My wonderful mistake. It's raining snakes and mongoose!
"Insufficient," Prowl explained. "Cats do not fare well in battle against snakes."
Prowl, do I want to know why you know that...?
'He had already interrogated twenty-odd snakes, but none of them were talking.'
Must...not...pfffft-Um, I'm think Red's finally lost it.
"Everyone is susceptible, Trailbreaker - everyone. You, Prowl, Prime…even me."
The pit...? Red, get a grip! INFERNO! Calm Red down or so help me I will sick Hatchet on you! Oh, wait, he's on the med berth...Curses!
'It was amazing to Trailbreaker how long it could take to read two hundred head of mongoose into the Autobots' security program. He supposed he should have complained somewhere around the fifth hour or so, but he realized before he opened his mouth that at least Red Alert wasn't ranting any more. In fact, he was doing what he liked to do best - which was preach the Gospel of Security to the captive masses.'
*Facepalm*
'Sunstreaker grudgingly did as he was told, and was rewarded a gang of mongoose adorers who seemed, beyond all reason, to take to Sunstreaker more than any other Autobot, and who took every opportunity to shower him with unendingly joyous offerings of dead reptiles.'
Poor Sunny. Mongoose, mongoose go away...Please come back-Never!

'The young mongoose, for all Trailbreaker could tell from his jaunty chirp of a reply, told Red Alert to slag off.
And that was all it took. Like a shot, the security chief was after the little mammal, knees skidding and sparking as he slid across the floor, but the mongoose was too fast, and shot around the corner and out into the hall before Red Alert could so much as touch his shadow. In a fit of rage, the security chief transformed and squealed his tires as he shot after the mongoose, in hot pursuit.'
Don't...mess with...*wheeze*...mother...nature...*Banging on table* You evil, evil person. XD

I was laughing aloud at this and wondering how in the heck I managed to miss your wonderful collection. I may have actually hurt myself laughing.

Your writing is excellent. You took something completely silly and made it plausible, keeping everyone in character. I mean totally, completely 100% in character. My favorite kind of writing.

I literally laughed ‘til I cried the first time I read this, and I still consider it one of your best comedy oneshots. The premise is just so absurd and outlandish, yet weirdly plausible that it just /works/. And you don’t get many fics from the POV of Trailbreaker, so that was an added bonus. Your Red was hilarious, as usual, as was Ratchet’s reaction to the snakes in general. Will we ever get an explanation as to why he’s scared of them? Anyways, great fic, enjoyed it muchly. Thank you!

This is a really random comment, but I love your summary of this story ("First it rained...and then it rained some more...and then it just kept on raining.") XD

I think I've broken myself trying not to laugh, and failing. Did you know you get funny looks for bursting out laughing for no apparent reason? Ratchet is almost as bad as my dad. I cannot stress how incredibly funny this story is. You are awesome.
