That was such a great idea; that Atlantis has security cameras outside, which then caught John climbing up the tower! I like that you find different ways for the characters to learn about what's happened to John when he won't tell them that he's hurt.

I'm hoping to finish downloading the rest of your stories, so I can have a wonderful read/snuggle this weekend!

Not bad at all. My father always gets loopy after surgery. He has had three so far, and will have a knee operation next week.

Anyway, the doctors say that he doesn't respond well to the anethisea (sp?) so he basicly acts like he's eight years old. Needs to reminded that he doesn't need to go to the bathroom because he has a catheter and so flashes people (frontal as well as behind). One time they showed a movie and he insisted that he saw the hospital being robbed while he was looking out a window. He also gets weepy and emotional then doesn't remember all the things he says or does around us. He spent two months in the hospital from complications. Of that he only remembers five days of it - the time he was cranky.

One way to deal with the bad stuff is to keep your sense of humor. I'd rather laugh than cry. So, no there is nothing wrong in finding this funny or using the experience in your writing. ~Lia

The bug thing cracked me up ... I had some minor surgery last year and thought my doctor was randolph mantooth (johnny gage from emergency!) LOL that's what happens to you when you are on pain killers.

Okay, so I just found your story and read it. I just have to say I laughed and smiled till my mouth hurt! I was so freaking funny! I loved the bug thing too! When I had my latest surgery at Thanksgiving, I reacted the same way except it wasn't bugs. I kept insisting the my dad and brother go park the orange mustang that was flashing it's lights and popping it's trunk before it got towed! I was getting so upset that no one was parking it cause I could still see it, that I started to try and get up and pull out my IV's so I could do it myself! Not the bightest thing to do ehen you have a 14 inch incision! I did at least keep my family and friends entertained! For two days straight I would ask every person that came into the room if they'd seen the orange mustang and if they would go park it before it got towed! My nurses really got a crack out of it!

I loved this. Made me LOL. And finally some acknowledgment of how crazy and difficult that climb was. No one even mentioned it on the show!
