this is a really good beginning. the way u progessingly changed kagome is really good and how sesshomaru slowly started being fascinated by the new kagome is fresh, in comparison to the other fanfictions where he just likes her out of no where XD

But why did she just let the darkness take over when she had previously vo9wed to ensure the rest of the jewel, midorikos battle, would be purfied so it was white like the jewel she had kept...

I know its a drama build up and everything... but its still annoying that she went through the whole story gaining skill and power and when she FINALLY gets to use, shes practically useless again. Im sure she'll wake up and purify the jewel, possibly naraku in the process but no one will get to see the damn fighting ability shes worked so hard to grow! They wont get to see her other strengths, just her ability to purify.. which theyve already seen to some extent before...

Allll that work and he still got the jump on her so easily.

Whats the point of changing her if she just goes right back to being the same once shes around other people?

I really enjoyed reading this story, and I'm intrigued at what you've hinted about in the last few chapters. I hope you are inspired to write the sequel someday!

What you did with Kagome just seemed...odd and out of place. You said she was angry for the past 2 and half years but when reading that part of the story, you gave no indication to this, only sadness and determination. I don't know, maybe its just me but it just didn't seem to fit right into the story. Oh but don't get me wrong I understand why she would be angry, but like i said there was no real indication to that.

Absolutely fantastic! I love how you put this story together, it was captivating. I'm so happy that even though youadded the romance element you still kept the focus in Kagome and her journy to get stronger and beat Naraku. Great job!
