This is so damn brilliant, I love love love it. It's amazing, and original and one of those things you just never think about it. Tonks is oc, but she's supposed to be, so it makes it more fricking brilliant. I love how you've characterized Tonks and the whole bellatrix thing, and it's just awesome. Thank you so much for posting.

So, so sad. You've perfectly caught Tonks, I think. The fact that she's torn between love and hate for both Remus and the baby make this very realistic, too. And, wow, the "what if our luck has all run out" is very sad and ironic, since they'll die, and, I'm just very depressed now.

this is a darker look at Tonks that I usually go for- but you wrote it incredibly well. It all works and rings very true for the character- particularly the Bellatrix stuff. great story

This was so depressing and heavy on the heart, cupid. I really got a sense of Dora's feelings of abandonment and self-loathing. I loved the comparisons you made between her and Bella, and her constant denials and second guesses. I don't think anyone ever really gets to see a side of Dora that isn't all smiles and jokes and laughter, and JK really didn't do her justice; you did.

Put simply, it was chilling.

Very insightful on how tonks might have felt. The plot is very depressing, yet,...not?

It shows how strong people can be during moments and that sometimes people are breaking, and those closest don't know. Andromeda doesn't know Tonks is at home crying, does she?

I feel so sorry for Tonks here and the Remus situation. I always did wonder what happened when Remus was visiting Harry at Grimmauld place.

Heartbreaking.

Um… I was wondering, what was with the brackets….? {()}? Anyway, incidentally, I was planning on writing a story on this situation as well. Luckily, mine will be nothing like yours, though hopefully, just as good. (: It was a very good story, subtly written…and well, I have was moved. Well done.

Fantastic ending.

No one ever seems to wonder how Tonks felt when Remus left and tried to join Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Likewise, they never assume that she's ever sad (besides in HBP), or angry, or annoyed, or selfish. With this we get to see another side of Tonks; it's chilling the way she knows she'll die and then she does, and the way you write it is just amazing.
