Interesting. Going to have to think about this one for a while. I always see Hermione as his sister from another mister, lol. They seem like siblings to me. Although sadly, I don't get the love for Ron AT ALL.

Well if that wasn't a gut-punch of an opening chapter! And also an intriguing explanation for why Luna is as spaced out as she is. LOVE it.

Chapter 4 made me cry so hard. It just shows a couple things.
a) The gentle, kind, caring and innocent side of Harry. Not every six year old has the moral fibre and the emotional depth to free a butterfly at his own cost because he truly knows the butterfly didn’t deserve death and he didn’t want to kill or harm anything.
b) The effect of society and their expectations and demands and their ultimate suffocating pressure on a person who already has been through so much.
c) How excruciating the Dursley’s really are, being bigoted, prejudiced, ignorant, arrogant and above all, bitingly cruel. And their closed mindset. And the fact that they ruined not one, but two children. Abusing one and pampering the other.

I love all of these! I don't think you "bashed" Ron in Hermione's chapter, because Ron can be a genuine dick sometimes, just like Hermione can be vindictive, and Harry aggressive. They are flaws, but not what defines them. Neville's chapter broke my heart, and Harry's on the butterfly was equally as tragic. Well done!

This was my favorite... definitely. Go Ron! He was always my favorite of the Trio.

Beautiful! I love this chapter the most, because what you've said about the trio rings true. Harry may love Ginny to death, but it's to Ron and Hermione he'll go first. They come first. Always. I can imagine Ginny struggling with that - every girl (or guy for that matter) wants their significant other (BAE :P) to put them before someone else. I think Ginny accepting her place is one of her huge strengths, and proof that she's the right one for Harry. I also love that Harry would tell her that she comes before everyone and that he would think he was telling the truth. Ginny knows Harry better than he knows himself in someways. :)
