Great story was pretty different and a true pleasure to read

Ok... (warning - kind of spoilers)
I must first say my daughter sent me the link to this story and that around chapter 6 I was on the point of giving up, but she told me to stick with it. I was unconvinced but persevered... when I got to 'the walking dead, headless bit' (A TV show I hate) I was, NO! Not for me! but again... I read on and was only reading because... I've never not finished a story yet that I started... I will say I kind of skip read (Chapter 25 to 31? about one line in 10?) But from 31 I was starting to like it and by the end I decided that in a day or two I will read it again... (I may skip read the early chapters...) But - I think I enjoyed it... it was interesting... not yet a Favourite, but close...

loved this book. you did an amazing job. the fight scenes were one of the best I've read on ff

So Alecto Carow can take a blasting curse point-blank, causing her to "sail out of the door with a howl and a sizzle of burning flesh, crashing into the ground outside with a satisfying crunch", and yet 2 minutes later she is collected enough to apparate onto a moving train and fight Harry AGAIN?

Wow, these death eaters are made of tougher stuff than the ones in Rowling's books!

Dumbledore is as useless as Fudge.

I am not sure I would be too trusting of Dumbledore, his first reaction was a bad one.

So the prime minister basically tells Harry he is going to commit genocide and Harry says ok? Why is allowing this guy to talk all kinds of shit to him?

Intelligent writing, very readable.

It is mainly a warrior/soldier/war story and very much focuses on Harry/Dumbledore/Voldemort.
I had hopes of having some friendship and warmer themes, but there is little to none, which felt a bit unfitting considering the premise of his losses.

A bunch of fist fighting scenes with Voldemort for some reason.
The fighting chapters felt endless lacking a bit of suspense.

For those who are looking for an action packed fanfic with unrelenting defiance.

Sadly the time travel is not a very central theme in the story, it could have very well just be set as an alternative ending.
