Aww~ I love these Sesshoumaru x Kagome stories that take place in the present with Sesshoumaru living through the 500 years. There's so much emotion.
Just curious. Many years ago (I can't remember what year from 2004-2008 or so), there was a very long oneshot like yours that was about Sesshoumaru losing his vision. He was blind and met Kagome in the present. Does that ring any bells? Have you read anything like that? I'm looking for it again, since I didn't save it years ago... (

awesome story. i enjoyed it. i wouldnt have minded a bit longer ending but i like it all the same. ill use my imaginationa and sya mika made it just fine

So many ups and downs and the ending doesn't really say if Mika survived or not, only that Sesshomaru will do his best.

But they are a family now and that is the important thing! Their romance was slow and without the sparks in the beginning as with the fairytales, but they do have a love that was built with moments, one moment at the time, and this love is a lot more lasting.

Hope you've written a sequel to your story so we can find out if their solution worked and what happened with them after. Thank you for this story, it was a great one!

wew! That was one good, bitter-sweet one-shot. Well written. I liked how after the initial part of the story, Kagome & Sesshomaru's relationship development was slow and steady. They both grew up in their character..it was amusing to see Sess feel possessive about Kagome n still be confused. ;) And as you wrote Kagome was nothing but determined.
I know it kind of sounds silly to ask but did Sess officially mate Kag? hehe And at some point I was curious about what the reaction of everyone(Inu, Rin, Kag, Sess) will be after they came across each-other after Kag & Sess fell in love..?

D'awwww what a cute little ending. I absolutely love it.

It's fitting having Kagome be a chef after having to prepare so much food for the gang in the Feudal Era (as simple as those meals were). I love how the interactions between Kagome and Sesshomaru were so realistic and in-character, making this all the more enjoyable to read. :)

My heart just broke in happiness. Is that possible? This is such an amazing story. Your writing is superb... I really don't know what to say. Sesshoumaru was perfect (like he could be otherwise) and Kagome, just spot on. It was totally believable and awesome.
