| Bluedrake chapter 1 . 9/16/2010 Strong points: solid grammar and good pacing. Needs work: the setting you chose strains credibility. Dragunov is a Russian special forces officer, not a mercenary. There is no reason for him to be babysitting in Monacco. If Lili's father were meeting with the Russian president (for some business reason or the like), then perhaps Dragunov could be assigned to protect the "guests". Other than that, I don,t think he would take that kind of abuse from anyone but his superior officer, but artistic licence has got you covered there. Keep writing. This was meant as constructive criticism, not flames. |

What a conversation this would make on film: "It's fine to answer back when I am complementing you, son." "Okay...I'll be going then..." Nice use of homophony in this (no pun intended): "Why is your name pronounced 'Sir Gayeh'? Isn't that offensive?" It's not too easy (possible?) to pull an overly conversation piece with Dragunov, so good job on all accounts! |
