Absolutely stunning. I can't rave enough about how perfect the end of this was, and I agree that this should definitely stand on it's own. It has the kind of open, dramatic conclusion that's so hard to find on this site, and even in professional works.

This is one of those stories that literally just took my breath away. It is an amazingly written fic, and I love the concept of Koenma being Light.
The last two words just made my heart beat so much faster, and I was just so surprised, yet I expected it all along.
Okay, I think you don't want to listen to my rambling on and on and on, so I'm going to submit this review now.

My gawd. That's...Oh god, poor Yusuke! And he was so flippant when he encountered Koenma. My guess is that he went looking for Kira for revenge, but when he found out it was Koenma he couldn't pull through and he knew that Koenma would beat himself up when he remembered. That kind of torment - thought of by a much more mature Yusuke - nah, likely he just couldn't kill Koenma when he met him again.

lol, Never would've thought to have Light be Koenma. Real neat idea you had here.

This is a great deal more interesting than I expected. Wow, very nicely done. I certainly would like to read more, a second confrontation between him and Yusuke, as well as kurama's thoughts on it, as he'd have been living in the human realm still during that time, right? Hm or not.
Poor Keiko, I'm surprised she'd go into police work but it suits her somehow. Too bad she was off'd by koenma. I think I'd /really/ like to see the confrontation between them.

Yusuke will definately go after him now...O.O

That was amazing. Really deep and not at all what I expected but I loved it.

This is brilliant. Sheer briliance. I did not expect to find such a piece of gold in this crossover group.

I think this does fine as a stand alone (after all, I'm in love with it, aren't I?) But I confess to wanting a second part in which Yusuke and Koenma meet up again.

Will probably come back and reread this a zillion times.
