I'm honestly so ashamed and horrified that I've never, not once, commented on this before. I don't know how to tell you how much I love this story and how many times I've gone back to re-read it. I found this fic in high school and immediately fell in love with it. I read the entire thing in one go, feverishly, because the characterization was flawless, and the emotional journey was real and meaningful, and Raph is my favorite and it's really him in there, that's really Raph. It made me cry so many times. I'm in my 3rd year of college now, and I don't think a year has gone by that I haven't gone back and read this again at least once. I always return to it, always get a craving to read it again. It is, literally, my favorite TMNT fanfiction. Ever. There is nothing else I can put above it. I've seriously considered learning book-binding just so I can ask your permission to print it all out and make a physical copy and put it on my bookshelf along with all my other favorite stories. It has been my comfort-story, my writing goal, my characterization standard, my inspiration.

Anyway, I know you get a lot of gushing comments and that this one won't be special among the rest, but this story is so special to ME among the rest of the stories out there, and I needed to at least type up something to let you know that. Thank you so much for this story, it is beautiful and heartfelt and I'm so glad to have read it.

Just wanna say: tmnt 2012 is one of my favourite TV shows and I've watched them all. The fact you mentioned svu, watched most of them and have a fan page for both tmnt and svu, makes me love you more.

Wow. I just... This was the best fanfiction I have ever read. I've never cried while reading before, but I shed a tear reading that very last chapter. The emotion in this piece is incredible, it felt so real and almost tangible for me. The story was so dark, so monstrous and bitter and painful and beautiful in ways that I have rarely seen before. I actually feel like I know each of the turtles better now, and I love them all the more. This is truly an inspiration to me, and if I have any means whatsoever I would fund you in a heartbeat to have this thing made into a film.
