I've just found this story and wanted to tell you I love it! It's fab - I want Alex to have a happy ending with Gene and with Molly and I'm so glad you found a way to make it happen. :)

I do like the way you've shown their relationship developing in the course of this story, starting out as just great sex but ending up as something deep and strong enough for Gene to sacrifice his life for Alex and for Alex, back in 2008, to realise at last how much he means to her. Then that wonderful ending, with no explanation as to how Gene comes to be in 2008, just maybe a suggestion that he has earned it through his self-sacrifice and the strength of their love. Gorgeous and very moving.

I think you left it at just the right place, and kept us in suspense of what had happened to gene to and i was so pleased when i read that he had come through to 2008 with her. all else i can say about this perfect fic is sequel!

I actually love the ending - in this case I don't need to to know all the ins and outs of how he managed to be in 2008 - just the fact that he is, is good enough for me.
