Great story until you find out that Harry's too much like Dumbledore - a manipulative jerk.

Ookay. Tbh, I have really mixed feelings about this fic. It is well written, and I wholeheartedly agree that Hermione deserved better, and Dumbledore is/was a dirty manipulative old coot. It's just that Harry's actions and self-stated motives are downright dirty and underhanded. The only one coming out of it smelling like roses is Hermione, but I wonder what she'd say if she knew what he did.
On the other hand, I'm glad you didn't turn Harry into a perfect saint. So, as I said, conflicted.

Well shit talk about a twist...He straight up screwed over Ron's life to be with Hermione by using Imperio on him to bang a milf. I did not see that coming...

i like it till the end, you could have made harry caught ron cheating and such, but you made harry as bad as dumbles. i agree harry should be with heroine, but this is not the way to go. he used unforgivebales! you body shame people too much in your story. so a mother with a bit of weight is not attractive because she bore children? i hope you are not a women and mother yourself! a man should love a women regardless for size, color etc...esp when that women goes through unbearable pain while giving birth to that man's children. Arthur loved Molly no matter how much you think she was a cow. I dont like Milky myself because she is very loud and lack manners...but please learn to respect women and stop objectifying them! this could have been a good fic, but you ruined it with end and your narrow-mentality!

Finally i haven't come across something like this, i after so many fanfics i have read i came to the same conclussion what harry tells hermione what dumbles did.
And that is only one of many things i find very edgy.

It'd be a decent Harmony story only you made Harry a jerk. Ugh. Sorry.

Having just finished reading this story, I have to say that it is accurately described as "betrayal with a twist". Not sure if you meant for the twist to be that Harry is the bad guy, but that's what happened.

You spent most of the story talking about how Harry felt like he had no control over his life for the longest time and about how he felt about Dumbledore manipulating him and his friends "for the Greater Good", making him come across as sympathetic when he finally got his dream girl.

Then you completely ruined any sympathy that anyone might have had for Harry by adding a twist where he acts just like Dumbledore, only with some imperius curses thrown in to speed up the process. Knowing Ron, Harry probably wouldn't have had to wait too long before he screwed up with Hermione on his own. He got impatient and resorted to manipulations, both magical and non-magical (something he hated Dumbledore for), to end Hermione and Ron's relationship prematurely and then took advantage of the situation for his own benefit. He went from being likeable and sympathetic to being a completely unlikeable creep. Not the kind of twist I was expecting.

Huh...sooooo Hermione doesn't realize that there's a difference between Friday evening and, say, Saturday or Sunday afternoon? Huh. Poor Hermione.

So it's ok for Harry to have Ron go around raping people? That's...cool? How pro-rape ARE you?

I'll be honest, I was with it right up until the end. Then I got to the end. Legally and morally wrong on so many levels. Harry wouldn't do that.

Way to make Harry the bad guy! This was very disappointing.
