this was just lovely! their dialogue sounded just like you lifted it straight out of the books, which is quite a feat. and they're all so in character. i also love how you show lucy as a little bit older, not the youngest, and sort of as someone that the youngest two look up to a bit, as opposed to her continually being the youngest looking up to her brothers and sister. if that makes sense. anyway, well done!

The truly brilliant thing about this is that I can't peg down exactly what I like about it. I think everything. Terrific job.

That was absolutely adorably sweet. I loved how you involved Lucy and interwove her whimsy throughout the entire piece. You used humor very well to balance out the more serious parts and I just LOVED the last bit about Lucy going barefoot. It's just so perfectly Lucy. A job very well done.
