Excellent story!

I find this to be Excellent! Are you sure you do not own the movie?[lol I'm joking!] I adore this movie! And you did a magnificent job of the conversations not shown in the movie. Please continue this! :p

That was very nicely written and I enjoyed reading it quite a bit. Both Belle and the Beast were very in character throughout. All in all, it was a very sweet and lovely piece of work. Keep it coming!

I really, really enjoyed this! What I love about one-shots that explore the little scenes in BatB is that it reminds me of the way I felt about the movie back when I fell in love with it a few years ago. Now, I've seen it so many times that I don't get into it the way I did then, so I don't think about the story and emotions behind things like the Something There montage so much, and don't get so much from the movie. But here, you've totally explored all of that, and what that song really means in terms of the relationship. And I adored it! Thank you so much for posting!

As for not getting to see the movie... I can see your problem. I bought the DVD on ebay ages ago for £20 and now they're going for much more. And it's never on TV here, either. But if you still have a VHS player the video is incredibly cheap.

If you don't have a vhs player, why not try and find the movie on dvd? I know it's in the disney vault, but go to a used book store and you can probably find it on dvd.

This story was so sweet. I enjoyed it very much and I think you need to write more for BatB. This is part of the scene that we should have seen in the movie, seeing them talking a bit more, finding out about each other. I really enjoyed a new, non-au story for a change.

We need more stories like this.
