Honestly... first appearance and he immediately starts with the insults.
I mean... calling Sakura UGLY? And during her stay in the town, she was being fawned over by every girl that saw her (or should I saw him...). I can only wish that he means the opposite later on.
On the other hand... Kakashi isn't thaaaat old. Is he?
Anyway... this is fantastic, getting really interesting, and loved the squealing and blushing girls that saw Sakura in her 'samurai outfit'. Soooo cuuute... w

This chapter is by far one of the best Naruto fanfics I've ever read (and I have been reading A LOT). The story has a wonderful start and everything is explained very clearly. I've seen the great artwork for this fanfic on deviantART, and your description on them fits perfectly. I'm very interested in this version of Naruto, the characters are very similar to the original, yet completely different. I'm sure I'll enjoy the rest of this series, and just wondering; is this continuing or completed? Cause if it is unfinished, I would sincerely appreciate it if you manage to without losing interest.

While I love the story, and it's one of the most original I've seen, I have a problem with how you talked about Naruto being 'untrustworthy'. Kitsune, while amoral (not *im*moral), are regarded as always sticking to their promises (see where Naruto's 'I never go back on my word!' thing came from), and once he swore to defend her, he whould have been regarded as trustworthy. Also, I love the story.
