This was just completely brilliant. I've always thought about how Hammond must have felt, knowing what he knew sending them out that day. And I'd always wondered if he realized what was going on as the team started to pull themselves together. This was just fantastic, and I can totally seeing this as the way it happened and the way that Hammond felt.

I love the way this was written. You did a great job "seeing" inside Hammond's head. My fav line was "...one slightly less than deceased Doctor Daniel Jackson..."

Really nice! It's fun to look at the events of 1969 from Hammond's point of view. Love his thoughts about sending a woman into combat and the "normal sense of decency." I bet that was blown out of the water very quickly... :-)
