I love your writing! You understand so well that they are brothers: annoying, pissed at each other 90% of the time. You have their voices down, and the dialogue is great. And I think you balance just enough of the brotherly love to appease the fangirls and make it believable. I love it. Great job!

Also the last one was definitely not okay. ... All right, it was perfect. Sue me for crying.

To be honest: first I was a little irritated that you went back in time and while reading I thought to myself, that I probably would have done it the other way. But than I read the last oneshot and suddenly it all made perfect sense - that was really interessting and made the story very special for me.

It looks like you're going backwards - I mean, as if the story was written backwards, like, before and after. It's pretty cool, the way you did it. :)

that was beautiful. I loved the look back into their life. I am loving the teen!Winchesters lately. I work with troubled adolescents and see a lot of the winchesters in them. trying so hard to be grown up. dealing with too much stuff for a kid. precious in their innocence/awareness. ahh... i am rambling... thanks for sharing!

So enjoyed how we started out with the boys being teenagers and then descended in years until we ended where it all began. How sharp of you.

Loved your description of the witch. I will admit, though, I thought Sam was going to be cursed and the only thing that was going to break it was true love's kiss...

I liked when Sam thought Dean was dead and then said, "your breath smells like you're dead."

My two favorite lines, though, were the "tailored-suit-wearing dick" (Awesome) and mollycoddle. I've never heard that before. Is is a British term?

I went back to read this after reading A lesson for beginners, and I know I read the first bit, but I must have been interrupted and never read the rest. Anyway, it was really nicely done. I really enjoy reading small bits and pieces of everyday life, especially when they are well written. Nice job!

Not sure how I missed these but a very enjoyable series of scenes. Thank you for not painting John as a total A-hole because the man Kripke has shown us, while flawed, did love his boys and he couldn't have been cold all the time or else Sam and Dean would have never turned out as well as they did.

And I am so glad to see youa re fleshing some of these out as I enjoyed the witch story and am looking forward to reading the poison ivy story :)

Those were great little ficlets and I was especially fond of your telling them in reversed order.

Daddy Winchester cooking for his sons is always a treat. LOL

As is 9-year-old Dean spoiling his little brother by allowing him to sleep in his bed (after the 'monster' attack).

And the final scene with the whole family in better times was so sweet and heart-breaking.
