I just wanna say that this was really amusing. All this time of loving Avatar and I had never once thought that he might not know their names. I mean I'm pretty sure that anytime he mentioned them before joining them he would say "the Avatar" or on occasion, if he bothered to mention the others he'd maybe call Katara the "water tribe girl" or something like that, so it's really funny imagining Zuko in all his awkwardness after joining them, just also not even knowing their names. You did a good job with this. So short and sweet.

Good point!i don’t know if he has either. You’d think that the names would at least be learned in battle. Considering they may have shouted it.

I mean the other's have used their names in front of him though... like "what did you do to aang!" or "Where is Sokka!"

This is hilarious. And I could totally see this happening.

The water tribe women tend to have names that start with 'k' such as Katara, Kya, Korra, and such...The whole name thing with the tribes' names ending in 'a' is a little weird. Also, a lot of the Fire Nation people have a 's' or 'z' in their name somewhere like Sozin, Chit Sang, Ursa, Kuzon, Ozai, Azula, and Zuko. Good story. I loved when the Gaang left the room after he asked who Aang was. Made me laugh.

This story was very amusing and well played out. Also, I realize that this story is also nearly ten years old. That said, I will name citizens of the water tribe that were known by 2008.

Except, Zuko isn't an idiot (no matter what Azula thinks), and even if he didn't know who each name belonged to, he'd still know the names from hearing them address each other. He knows that Sokka and Katara are Water Tribe names, and must be the people from the Water Tribe. Therefore, the only remaining female name could only belong to the remaining female: Toph.
