Terribly enthralling story! so creepy-especially the Joker-and confusing-every time you make someone die until you reveal that they didn't ACTUALLY die-and terrifying-when Gordon almost dies and/or gets into trouble or almost any scene with the Joker-and wonderfully true to characters.

FINALLY A FIC THAT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT BATMAN WEARS FACEPAINT. You can probably understand my frustration. I have read a shit-ton dark knight fics in the last four months and you are the first person to admit that he wore facepaint. Thaaank you. I felt a need to review my appreciation . Also, dont be so self conscious (i read the a/n) i really liked your writing. There was nothing to indicate bad grammar, word choice, or sentence structure. Damn... I got so caught up in this story I forgot to review until now! Its not quite as centered on Bruce/Batman as I expected from the description, but I'm really enjoying your Joker, so I have no complaints. Hope your muse finds you again! I think EVERY writer understands the pain of a good idea leaving you to limp and struggle after the first ten chapters or so...

i'm a quitter

Not a bad story, but I gotta say the OOC already bugs me. Since when is Gordon such an incompetent fool or such a coward? And Bruce finding the Joker amusing, with the whole killing Rachel in the middle? Yeah, right.

Sometimes, when you don't like certain characters or don't know how to write them, maybe you shouldn't. Cause your Joker is cool, sure, but the rest of them just seem to act odd around him.

Juuuuust a little reminder that this wonderful story does still exist, and there are people who'd love to read a new chapter!
