Your chara descriptions of Eriol made me wish really, really, really _hard_ that he's real. He's so perfect. But then, I wake up from my short reverie and remember that like unicorns, fire-breathing dragons and Doraemon, the perfect guy never has and never would exist. *sighs* Thus is the drama of real life.

It was a tad sad... okay... kinda depressing ExT story, but it was very well put together. Great choice of words, setting, scenarios, everything.

O M K. so it was heartache... i knew tomoyo was dying, but did not except eriol to cast some spell so that she would have died before him. how painful. i read this last chapter with a heavy heart.. i think eriol is a great man.. and tomoyo? i think she should deserve true and undying love after her death.. its really sad, and all curse that belisarius guy.. such tragic love because of him.

tomoyo sounded definitely like she had amnesia.. eriol must have been truly sad.. its false love, false marriage... and to think he went full-out to let tomoyo forget him, intorducing someone to her.. i hope he is truly happy ne?

something was bugging me.. from the begining to the end, was it old age that eriol died from, or was it heartache?

fighting scenes wrote with great literature skills! i wonder what was eriol thinking when he fought. maybe he was focused on his enemy, maybe he was not?

its coming to a clear light now.. its so sad. i had wished eriol was not so cold.. tomoyo is awfully quiet.. the idea of having a new character is more than okay, story told in her point of view was brilliant! if you write what you feel its comfortable and nice, the story naturally will too... reading your story has taught me some!

wow. i forget if i reviewed this or not, but i truly believed this to be one of the most beautiful stories i have ever read on i read it about a year and a half ago and i reread it again and it's still good. there's only two types of fanfics on this site. the ones that are really good ones that can touch the reader with its incredible imagery and the ones that are really cliche, ultimately predictable, and written in lame text. you have the one that's really good. and it baffles me to think why all the crappy stuff gets all the reviews. it's always the good ones, the touching ones that are left in the dust. unless your stories just really suck like mine. ) but yours dont, so it's ok. hahaha. argh. 35 reviews ... 36 now, does not do your story any justice!

This is a gorgeous fic. Truly. Although I normally don't go for such a formal narrative, it /really/ fits with Anna's - and, later on, Tomoyo's - character, and gives you a deeper glimpse into who they are.

I think your closing notes hit the nail on the head. The thing is, many people aren't /brave/ enough to write stories that reflect "the truth about things". Kudos to you, for having the courage to do so, and beautifully as well.

I just finished your story and at first I wasn't going to like it because you broke tomoyo and eriol up but you did it so welll I couldn't help but like it .I don't think I will be able to read it again for a whille , it was just too sad . I think I prefer happy endings in stories. but still it was a great story anyway
