Actually, meat pies with 'mystery meat' in Victorian London often had gravy disguising the contents, hence how the possibility of how Sweeney Todd and Mrs Lovett disposed of the bodies (I saw this in one of Heston Blumenthal's series: he also points out that pie crusts were actually inedible for a long time, with pie casings being a sort of 'takeaway box' for cooked meats). They probably inspired 'Cut-Me-Own-Throat' Dibbler from the Discworld books, though he didn't use human meat, just things that were parts of a pig...if you were lucky.

Regarding your rant about Rock and Revy, you'll be pleased to know that I took a leaf out of your book with my "Black Lagoon" crossovers, making the main focus, as far as "Black Lagoon" characters go, on Sawyer. I even managed to create two different backstories for Sawyer in my Harry Potter crossovers, ("Butcher" was an inspiration, but I created two backstories very different to Sawyer being related to Leatherface). In "Disquiet", she is Bellatrix Lestrange's daughter. In "Quoth the Raven", well, she has a more tragic and less horrific past than in "Butcher", but one that ties in well.

Wow. Very good depiction of three characters who really aren't given much screen time in either the manga or the Anime. Enjoyed the read. Very well written.

It's good. Cruel and twisted, with a dark sense of humor that reminds me so much of the manga. You show a good grip on these three, even if they are supporting characters. But so important, oh my... Truly, one of the best stories of this section.

Man, that was cruel what Sawyer & Shenhua did with that pie to Rotton. Hope he gets back at them. Perhaps he can ivnite them to HIS place for dinner, & then pee in their meals or something. Good enough? Also, I personally thought Shenhua had a thing for Rotton. She seemed willing to help him out after the hunt for Jane went awry. Well, anyway, see ya.

That was a very well written and interesting piece. I never expected to see such good characterization on Rotten the Wizard. I'd have like to seen the results of him rescuing Shenhua. I really liked how you were descriptive of the bad things that happen in Roanapuar and the description of Sawyer's place. It was very easy to picture this stuff in my head.

This was great. I hope you'll write some more Black Lagoon fics.
