You weren't kidding when you said this story was full of angst. It was so angsty, it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I felt so bad for poor Remus. He always gets the shit end of the stick in fics. The way it ended...it seemed to me as though the only reason Sirius wanted to be with him is because he didn't have anyone else left, and there's nothing romantic about that. But that's just my honest opinion. Overall, I think this story was OK, just a bit too heavy on the angst.

I had to take a few deep breaths on the reunion chapter lol.

What are your thoughts to an inbetween one, during book 4 before this bit? I always wondered about whether they stayed in contact and Moonys thoughts during that time.

Its awful, you actually made me cry. It was this bit- “Pray that my closest friend stays locked in that – that place for the rest of his life?” He didnt do it! No, gr how dare he even think its true? His poor broken heart. It if wasnt so well written it wouldnt be nearly so hard to read and tragic. *sobs*

In my opinion this was the best chapter so far.

I love that you brought up what Dumbledore had been through too, it is good Remus had someone there to share his greif with.

Unfortunately this chapter made me loose all hope that there will be a happy ending to your story. Nevertheless it's a great one and I don't regret reading it!

God, that was beautiful and your last line made my eyes well up. I loved this little intimate moment where DD became less of a wizard and more of a man for Remus. Wonderful ficlet. Heartbreaking - as if the unrequainted love ones weren't bad enough!
