This story framed my entire belief over why I preferred Kagome over Kikyou. Before I read this, I just knew that I didn't like Kikyou as much. But this story is now every argument I'd ever have to make if someone questioned why I thought Kagome was better for Inuyasha when Kikyou was his first love.

Thank you for writing this beautiful story. I don't just like it because it's the truth, but you wrote this so gorgeously. I could tell that every character was who they were supposed to be in canon, even Inuyasha (who I personally find hard to write, since I keep writing him as a superficial character). You dug deeper into all of them and honestly Miroku waking up and then laying back down next to Sango is definitely a thing he'd do.

Nice; characters and setting realistic and well done; consistency in writing and in pacing. A few typos, mostly in punctuation, The last two sentences could be stronger if they were rewritten without the “Because” starting both of them, but overall a sweet and strong piece.
