Wow. Man you write so so well! I was so sad when Paula died and felt that their conversation was wasted because i still wasnt fond of Jeanne at that point. Now it doesnt feel like a waste. Thanks.

Great Fic

As I read this, I kept thinking what a wonderfully insightful exploration of Tony's feelings after what happened to Paula. And even though you were staying faithful to the content of their pivotal conversation, I kept wondering, "Is he thinking about Ziva?"

Odd, because I'm not a Tony/Ziva shipper, and in the (actual episode) conversation, Tony even tells Paula "It's not Ziva"; that "her name is Jeanne." So, I made myself imagine that it must be Jeanne that Tony's thinking about...until the you revealed who was behind the door.

This works beautifully as an A/U tag for 'Grace Period'. Thanks for sharing.

Seriously! That was so cool! It sounded like he meant Jeanne and I was sad and I'm like, maybe I should stop reading if it's going to be Jeanne. But then I thought, I'll just see how it turns out. And then it was Ziva! I was so happy, I really like this story.
