God bless you, Captain Jack Harkness... the sacrifice you just made by taking over Torchwood will resonate for millennia.

I do not understand why the Doctor, knowing Jack was in that cell, knowing he PUT Jack in that cell personally, knowing Jack was going to die some sixty or seventy times from dehydration during that six-month imprisonment, why the bloody hell didn't he go in there at any point with the TARDIS and get Jack out when this originally happened, before it became a fixed pointy in time?! That just really burns my toast!

Please tell me the Doctor is going to heed Jack's warning?

Shaking a little, Jack set his dog down on the bed, but held tightly onto his blanket. He stood and thought for a moment before changing his mind and putting the dog on Ianto's bed instead.

Those are two of the saddest sentences in the entire story.

Poor Jack! Cannot begin to imagine the utter chaos and turmoil in his mind right now!
