wow...maybe on of the only NaruxIno fics in which i'm rooting for the other girl, in this case Yugito. I have to say i've never seen a couple fic written so frustratingly in which I can barely get myself to actually feel as connected to the relationship as I normally would. What is it, 500k words or more in before Naruto and Ino actually get together? It's just honestly stressful. Good fic, hope you come back to it someday! I know it's not a romance fic, but I wanted to give my 2 cents.

I never thought I'd enjoy this type of story, I never was interested in adventure fanfics but dang you're writing sucked me in. Covid-19 left me with a lot of time in my hands, so I read through altered history and now shinobi wars. I unfortunately have one more chapter left. I wish you could update this story.

I enjoyed the first story easily, but you have major pacing problems with this one. Part of it is from spending so much time with other characters, another’ is how slow the downtime feels. I can’t continue reading at this point as I have been forcing myself for awhile.

i really enjoyed the prequel story to this and really do love this universe of characters and i know its been a long time and a single review probably doesnt mean much and i dont know if you will even see this review but i wish to urge you to complete this story please.

This was the first fanfiction I started reading (I accidentally started this before Altered History and while I recognize that as a mistake, it did not impair my enjoyment too much) and to this day it somehow remains if not my complete favourite then at least among the top 5. If you are reading this, please note that I am very biased towards this story as it just really "clicked" for me.

I have never seen anyone create such an immersive version of the Naruto universe, complete with a special approach to mythology, politics (the Author's approach to politics reminds me of Andrzej Sapkowski's [well known for the Witcher book series] style which is heavily based on history - I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy it) and character origin stories. Every character somehow feels special from their speech patterns to their thought processes. Everything the Author shows the reader seems to have a reason, even if it is just to build the universe instead of directly progressing the story. The dialogues feel natural, I don't see any signs of a phrase being said by a character just to relay information to the reader. The story, while long, doesn't seem to lose its pace thanks to a clever system of side stories that converge and diverge at the right points.

The only criticism that I am capable of is saying that when I was reading the stories (this and Altered History) for the first time together, I often got confused because there is a lot of country names and character names for a single piece of fiction, but that feels unavoidable when the story is, by necessity, composed of several minor stories that affect one another.

I do not even feel disappointed about the long time that has passed since the last update. I enjoy the story and while I would have loved to see it finished, the story has already given me much more than most other stories that I have read.

So, something I’ve always wondered. Why do a lot of authors insist on using Japanese names for jutsu in fanfiction? Especially without providing translations. I’ve never been able to figure out what they add to it.

I've been hooked on this fic ever since Altered History, and I must say that it's quite impressive from canon Naruto and some other fics, and nothing is mentioned on the various plot holes and how canon Naruto didn't go further into details on how the Elemental Nations functioned.

In terms of cannon, let me give out a few pointers:

In the Imjin War (the conflict that also included the 1593 Siege of Pyongyang), the Joseon pioneered the usage of cannons in Panoksuns (warships) against the Japanese Navy, in which Yi Sun Shin was the most brilliant admiral to use them.

1453 was also when cannons were first used to conquer Constantinople during the reign of Sultan Mehmed II the Conqueror, and great bombards became the main artillery pieces of the Ottoman Empire's forces.

Other than that, this has given me ideas on what I wanted to do in a future Naruto fic that involves the evolution of military weaponry, particularly the usage of composite bows, various polearms, and most controversially, firearms. (I'm talking about the flintlocks or needle guns)
