Guest chapter 1 . 1/11/2015
Splendid, I loved this!
cjn chapter 1 . 10/2/2012
Hmmm. Holmes sure can be a jerk, can't he? Poor Watson. Loved the bit at the very end, though, as well as your description of Holmes looking like a forlorn child :)

I would also like to say (for the record) I figured out it was Holmes right at the point where Watson asks him if he has any family or friends to return to. I was SO proud of myself... :)
MasterofAllImagination chapter 1 . 5/15/2011
I loved this! I didn't realize it was Holmes until he said, "Bosh. It is my opinion that a man is better off without any such attachments – the daily melodrama can grow to be deucedly annoying. Thank heaven I had not had the misfortune." That smacked too much of Holmes to not be him. Well written and entertaining!
nomdeplume30 chapter 1 . 12/27/2010
The apricot tart bit was great. :) I knew that horrible fellow was Holmes. Good for Watson for being such a gentleman and good friend. I would expect no less from the dear fellow. Once again your story was brilliant. Wish I had just a modicum of your talent. :)
Go Outside chapter 1 . 9/6/2010
I absolutely love this story! Thanks.
WorriedSmile chapter 1 . 6/20/2010
Oh...This was very grand! I adore your Watson and your creative use of Holmes unorthodox methods of getting information! Hilarious finish and wonderful job overall! :D

bemj11 chapter 1 . 2/6/2010
Wow. That was great. What more can I say?
SG chapter 1 . 2/6/2010
I knew from the beginning the man was Holmes in disguise, but as I read on his rude and cruel remarks, I began to hope he was not really Holmes doing that. Tut tut. Holmes can be such a child at times. He needs to seriously work on his social skills and just ask Watson what he wants to know. He should know Watson better than to do such a thing. But, yeah, I guess that's our Holmes.

Anyway, I would have never forgiven him so easily for such a childish behavior. Watson, you are the only person who can do this. You hang in there as always, old chap. *pats Watson on the shoulder*
shadowwolf chapter 1 . 9/30/2009
Oh gosh! You have to write another chapter from the guest's view! I'm sure it would be hilarious!
danceDANCEdance chapter 1 . 7/21/2009
Very sweet :) I liked that one a lot - and all your stories I've read, too, but this one especially. Hope you keep writing - I'll definitely keep reading :)
Edna Pests chapter 1 . 1/20/2009
"but when I turned back from the table the man was still standing there, lounging against the wall behind me with an air of extreme boredom mingled with occasional curious interest." I bet he's Holmes in disguise, isn't he? *bounces up and down* Huh, huh, is he, huh?

"I shoved my hand into the pocket of his coat and withdrew a pair of spectacles and a wad of false hair." YAY! *feels smartical*

Loved the ending. Well done.
Tristan-the-Dreamer chapter 1 . 12/10/2008
Oh of course I just deleted my whole review, lovely, that.

This was over-the-top amazing, best ending possible, and oh goodness Holmes how I love you...
C Elise chapter 1 . 11/29/2008
