| Gia Pang chapter 1 . 7/16/2009 So sweet! I liked this oneshot! Strangely enough, I don't see enough Wolfram and Conrad fanfics that explore their rocky relationship. Some Conrads are depicted as devoted solely to Yuuri, with very little interaction with others save for 'mysterious smiles', 'solemn nods', and other vague descriptions that make me sigh and go on another search for a good story. Maybe it's the sentimental dope in me, but I always cringe at the situations where Conrad must choose between protecting Yuuri and Wolfram. "Yuuri is his king! Wolfram is his brother!" While these angst-ridden exclamations seem appropriate material for a good story, I'd say no. It's too black and white. Honestly, I don't imagine a time where Conrad needs to choose because other characters will be there to help. There's always that option, nothing is so cut and dry. Which is why I feel insanely happy that Wolfram acknowledges Conrad's importance in Yuuri's life... and his own. Anyway, I love, LOVE the memory of little Wolfram. IT'S TOO CUTE. Thanks for writing! |
