Damn good story. I've never been much of a fan of Inu-Yasha, however the plot behind this story had me hooked from the start. Good job. I'd say it's well worth any awards it's been earned through the years.

I think this is an amazing fanfiction, because it feels like canon, and all the characters are IC.

Did I understand it correctly if I assume that the yôkai were disappearing because they need humans to believe in them to exist?

If that is the case, may I borrow the idea and use it in a story of my own sometime?
