Another delightful read. I can't believe you manage to re-invent the pairing ItaSaku in those big multichapter fics woth so much creativity. And everytime Itachi and Sakura are slightly different people but remain In Characters. That's a lot of talent.

Dear author, oh dear gawwwwwwwwwd Sasuke! The ending to this was explosive! In canon, Naruto lives with the burden of being an jinchuuriki his entire childhood and I love how his spiritual sasuke finds himself in a similar situation in this story! I also love how these new characters just keep popping up when I least expected it - like Karin, and now, Suigetsu! This is a wild ride; I can't wait to see what happens next!

Dear author, omg so the kunoichi who snared Shsiui was KARIN! Brlliant! Also, thank you for this fluffy sweetness - i love how itachi was the one to initiate their first REAL kiss... and how Sakura followed up to reciprocate. DEar author, i'm reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeling over the revelation about the Uchiha, what the secret scroll is, why Madara needs it and Daisuke's heavy handed roll in all of this. And reading Itachi's growing feelings was gut wrenching. Also, Sasuke's reaction gave me pause - does HE have feelings for Sakura? He seems extremely resistant. IS this just Team 7 overprotectiveness coming into play... or is it something more? I can't wait to see what Deidara has to reveal about all of this. It was also incredible to read how Itachi considered Sasori's death... how that could have easily been him had he followed Madara's lead. Wow, love this contrast with canon (which, ngl - i kind of HATE) :( As always, thank you so much for writing and sharing another incredible chapter with us!

Dear author, it was so gratifying to read Itachi rush to Sakura's rescue. It was also awesome to read how Sakura overpowered Deidara and managed to smash her way through her prison. Dear author, so many competing thoughts went through my head as I read this chapter. I wondered if the person the herbalist was referring to was Sasori, given that the ninja Kabuto described in the prior chapter had "red hair". And of course, wherever Sasori danna goes, doesn't Deidara follow?Also, I was floored by Daisuke here. So I take it he was the spy, not Shisui? So many incredible developments in this chapter, they were all so much fun to read! Also, I never cease to be amazed by Fugaku and the elders' extreme meddling. It was refreshing to read Mikoto taking her son's side and trying to temper her husband's demands. Oh boys... Dear author, I love Team 7's dynamic in this fic. Naruto and Sasuke just can't help themselves, can they? They're so greedy for Sakura's attention! LOL I can see the beginnings of sakura catching feels... she's thinking an awful lot about that innocent fabricating kiss from Itachi! I was also surprised to see how calmly Sakura took the revelation of Kakashi interfering i her missions with Itachi's ANBU quad. But that's Kakashi in my head to a T - he might not be adept at showing his emotions and concerns and care point blank, but his actions speak for him. I wonder how Itachi and sakura's "fake" mission will progress from here... it's seems both of them are starting to see each other in a different lights and maybe it'll only be a matter of time until they actually begin to have geniuine feelnigs for each other! Dear author, I love how Sasuke was the designated voice for tweedle dee and tweedle dum here (aka the Naruto Sasuke combo XD!) Also, I loved how we learned about the rogue that approached Itachi before (enter Akatsuki!) I love love love love and appreciate the pacing and momentum of this story; I really appreciate the timing of all of these revelations and how swiftly they're coming.
It was awesome to learn about the backstory related to the attempted coup and how itachi managed to stop MAdara with Sandaime's help and those in his clan who didn't agree with Madara's POV. And finally... what the hell is going on with Shisui?! As always, thank you for writing and sharing another awesome update with us!

Dear author... IT BEGINS! kekekeke no talking to her teammates? yea right! How the hell is she supposed to keep this from Naruto and especially SASUKE?! I had NO idea where Itachi's confidential mission request came from until I read this chapter... and it makes total sense now. Of course Sakura is the only reasonable candidate for this! I was also very struck by Mikoto's comment. Like Itachi, it made me wonder if she deviated from her husband on other matters, and how it might impact the plot/other events in the future... And that final scene was hilarious - I could only imagine Naruto hyperventilating at hearing Itachi and Sakura call each other intimately by their first names WITHOUT HONORIFICS! (THE HORROR!) XD! thank you so much for another awesome installment!

oh my the plot thickens... already! Dear author, I loved how we immediately got more info on neji and Sakura's involvement. It seems like they parted on good terms,and that he's still a valuable time and confidante, which is awesome. I was also struck by Itachi's briefing with Tsunade - what is the forbidden scroll? and what does it have to do with the uchiha massacre? And of course, I loved seeing more of Team 7's dynamic here - and how all of Sakura's boys, Kakashi included -are greedy and protecive of their medic/teammate. It was so much fun to read the scene bw Itachi and Kakashi - two frightening proficient and powerful nin going head to head is always hair raising! And of cousre - THE MISSION. WHAT THE HELL!? DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING AT ALL. I can't wait to see what Sakura decides. If her boys are protective now, gawwwwd only knows how they'll explode when they hear this!
