Technically, author's note chapters are against site rules and can get your story removed, so technically, you can't just do whatever you want. If one of your readers got upset enough, especially at the response in this chapter, they could just report you and get your entire story, and any other story with similar notes, deleted from the site.

And I have to concur, it is really annoying when what you want to see is a chapter, but it's not one. And while it might not be so bad once, maybe twice in a pinch, you've done it far more often than you should. It falsely makes your story appear longer than it is. I set a search and limited it to stories with 30k words or more. With how may authors notes I've seen, and how many might still be coming, I'm questioning whether this story would have been included in the search otherwise.

Now don't get me wrong, I am enjoying the story for the most part, though there are some things that don't really make sense, like why they wouldn't just expose Bellatrix immediately while Harry was in the castle, free from her wrath. He is the technical lord and she falsified reports of his death. I think it would have made more sense him not revealing things if Remus and Sirius hadn't been involved... So yeah, it has issues, but it's overall entertaining. But the author's note chapters are too much.

In the chapters before this, i was really fucking angry at draco like jsbdjd djwnsjdkeke ne guuuh *sorry bout that, i just had to rage type because im so mad at him XD* poor harry though, he got raped and all and btw, i really love how you write. I mean, i admit there are grammatical errors and misspells, but the emotion is there (you managed to make me depressed, you know XD *hides in shame*) and i feel all the feelzzz and really, that is something most "writers" lack, the ability to express feelings and emotion through written works. Thank you for this masterpiece~ although i'm not done reading everything, i love it and i just had to review~ *throws sparkles and glitter in the air*

Thank you for letting Hermione redeem herself if only a little. But I would have liked to see a bit more of Ever After's kind sister in her character instead of the boy crazy girl. By the way, I love which story you chose to model this after, it's my favorite version of Cinderella!

It's a good chapter, but it is amazing that neither Crabbe nor Goyle saw Harry go after the snake. Then again, they were imbeciles in the books. I can't wait for the final chapter and possible epilogue of this story.
