Absolutely beautiful - bless Owen and his heart of gold and his caustic tongue! I love that Jack carries his little red book around with him, carefully archived in the pockets of his greatcoat. It's perfect.

I've so *often* stopped to want to write a story where Ianto left a 'care and feeding' list/book/set of instructions on Mainframe for whoever would take care of Jack after Ianto was gone, but - it is *perfect* to have had Owen have thought of it first/have beat him to the punch! I'd sometimes thought that someone would've beat Ianto to it, but somehow hadn't come up with Owen - and should've! You're *brilliant*! Thank you for writing this and posting it to share with us!

aww, cute but sad, omg, totally an owen thing to do, he was a great character, didnt feel the need to be all mushy, but still cared for everyone, was really nice story, cute but sad, really enjoyable

I like seeing proof Owen cares - he is a doctor after all, so deep down he has to have some form of compassion. And it's very cute he made little 'user's manuals', and slightly cheeky, so exactly the kind of thing he'd do.

You really seem to get inside the character's heads and make them your own, you're also very good at uncovering all the pain and sorrow they feel that can sometimes be brushed aside in the series.

User manuals, that's such an awesome idea cudos on thinking of it.

Beautiful story. I'm not brave enough to watch them both back to back. I saw them on YouTube before they got yanked...it realy was a shock to lose them both. Love your writing style.

Oh that was just wonderful. I imagine that they really needed each other to get through the pain of losing 2 dear friends in such a horrific way. Gwen after all has Rhys. They only have each other for such intimate moments of comforting need. I can actually see Owen in all his outward gruffness having little notes of important details about each of his friends. He is a doctor after all and the clinical side of him would need something like that to keep him sane in their crazy world lol.

My favourite food! This was so sweet. And sad. And just about every other emotion at the same time. So, in total, a very good fic. Which is why it has found its way to my favourite list.
