This really deserves a note, much as I seldom drop reviews.
I admire it; this piece speaks to the (non)writer me, the oft-dreaming me, the wish-I-coulds of anyone, and fits really well in the viewpoints and behavior of these characters.

I'm thrown into turmoil with the parting statement; within this context, I doubt the truism. !

How can I? Yet, not needing to be said in words? If I could just hold it to be true that Fakir and Duck have a 'happy ending,' why do I periodically read anything I come across that might finally give it to them?

This grants me a scene I can find better closure with, when I want it. Thank you for the words.

I read in an earlier review: and the important part is that they LIVED. hahahahaha! anyway, I really like that, it is so vauge-ish and yet descriptive enough that you can tell exactly what's going on, without getting hung up on details. Also, if 'happily ever after' was written, I don't believe that life as they know it would be normal. And with that, I'm adding it to my bookmarks. Great job! :D

So like the ending to Ever After: "the important thing, gentlemen, is that they LIVED." This was just what I wanted! I had just finished re-watching the series and I wanted to something sweet and fluffy where Fakir got Ahiru the girl back and they could have a quiet life together dancing ballet! Yay!
