I like the idea that Tess considered Caitlyn's family her real family. I have this idea with that in mind. It probably wont' flesh out fo time, but that's okay.

As always brilliant! You really make me feel for Tess and as I kept reading, I could feel her desperation and her weary-ness of a life without Caitlyn to stabilize her. And also I feel compelled to add that Tess takes gift giving to a whole new level. Which is scary but also makes for such good holiday angst (never thought I'd see those words together).
