I can see quite a few ways from you to go from here. Personally I really want you to continue it from here, but I can see how rewriting it may seem more appealing.
Idk, I really like it as is and I'm sure I'll enjoy whichever you choose to do.
(All though, just because I really I wanted to say this, I really want a longer scene of drunk shanks talking about kidnapping anne so he can marry her)

I would say since the story itself has progressed so far since the making of this story, I'd go with the option to re-write and add more details and in-depth. It also gives you an option to change/direct the story to the way you might want now.

Oh boy. First fanfiction drama. Not exciting, not fun, really boring overall.

I exchanged a few private messages with the negative commenter after their first two reviews, so I thought the matter was put to rest. Their opinion doesn't have much merit, because people are allowed to write fics where characters are OOC. That's how we have slash, AUs, non-canon pairings to begin with, and it's not a bad thing. I like people experimenting. I just don't like how years later, we've learned that Mihawk is just a grumpy ol' dad and not this mysterious bad guy, and I made him pretty rotten in my fic. Nowadays he's one of my favourite characters and I intend to do him justice. And bring in actual, rotten bad guys in the rewrite!

That said, I've never seen a person get so pissy over someone complimenting another author and marking them as their top ten. Are you okay, Xeno? Do you often feel the need to approve of others likes and dislikes? I have over 700 artists in my iTunes library. I could still select a top 10 and love so many more beyond them. People are allowed favourites. People are allowed to hate something, as you clearly despise me and my work. Doesn't bother me! I just don't need your pointless two cents derailing what is only meant to be a poll of whether readers prefer a rewrite or not. That's all.

You've been blocked, because it didn't seem like you had the ability to avoid a story you so passionately hated on your own. I'm happy to assist.

Now that I'm done my rant. You are a fantastic writer! Absolutely one of the best I have ever read on this site. I'd say even top 10 on the whole site. Although no writers better come to mind for me right now! You'll always find readers who dont like things. But dont lose heart when they are rude. Everyone else on your reviews loves the story. And I only just found this story but Its a BRILLIANT story. Has darkness and so much sweetness all in one. But just going to say if she doesnt pick shanks I'll be sad! Write what you want to write and damn the haters.

*Side note one thing you can do to stop anyone from hating on your stories like this again is to put a warning at the top of the page when that chapter contains a topic that might be a little sensitive. That would be the ONLY bit of advice I can give you about your story because otherwise it's perfect! Seriously love your style, your story, your writing - seriously you should be published! and the smut is steamy as hell! dont stop the story! I'll vote on your poll!

Xenolucifer I very much DISAGREE with everything you have said here. Many amazing writers even published novelists use different tools as both minor or major plot hooks. To fuel their characters changes and development or even their breakdowns! These include simple things from breakups and death close to said OC, poverty, parental and spousal abuse, to things like rape and near rape. A writer can use all things to farther along their stories. ALL devices are available to any writer, that's what gives us the diversity between stories and writers works. To shame a writer for using said devices... there is no reason for that. Learn to give real reviews and not be so damn rude! Also I love mihawk and this is a different take on his character BUT in no way has he been ruined. People can write their takes on characters in fan fic... that's the WHOLE point of it! Don't like it... don't read it obviously!

but did you really start it when you were just 14years old?! I couldn't tell, you were and are a damn good writer, believe me.
I kinda see how Anne's story can tied up and it's all very entertaining but If this sort of triage a trois were real, oh boy, I guess it can be described as abusive relationship . Still Anne being young is a good enough reason why she' s lost in the tides of her One summer love.
