I'm not familiar with Stargate Atlantis, so I was a bit lost with the characters there. But the Riker/Troi relationship was beautiful. Your narration of the way their minds come together in that intense moment, was excellent.
I enjoyed this piece very much. I might watch some Stargate Atlantis episodes just to familiarize myself with the characters, and then read it again. Thank you!

A great story here so far!

Excellent story you wrote the characters in a very believable style. Maybe you will continue this someday.

I have both good and bad points for this review but the bad can easily be overlooked, not to mention overshadowed by the good.

First off, the character work is second to none. Rarely have I ever read a story where the characters felt so legitimate I could picture them in my mind as they spoke. Visualize it. Rarely are there stories that do that. Well done. Second the situation that propels the plot is mostly believable. There are some minor quibbles with it but as I said, its minor at best. Third, the character interactions during the crossover, where people from one side interact with each other also feels so very real.

Now for the minor issues that detract from the story. For Starters the Wraith don't have Shields. Their ships use organic based armor that regen . second, Wraith Hiveships are over 11 Kilometers long where as the Enterprise is about 680 meters in length. The Daedalus is also of similar size to the Enterprise. The Firepower disparity is also slightly annoying. Stargate tends to punch way above Trek in firepower so I found the battle rather...odd. another thing that kind of bugged me and felt out of character was the constant pairing offs. While I approve of the choices and could easily see them happening, particularly with Riker and Troi, I don't do much see it happening with Weir and Shepard. Both of them are putting their careers at HUGE risk doing that. And while I certainly could see a relationship developing...I don't buy the fact it seems to already have without a proper catalyst.

Again these are minor issues. But the story overall is amazing. Well done and I hope you finish it.

Just a bit of insight. 1: The Wraith don't have shields. Their armor is organic and heals itself. 2: Anti-matter reactors can't be built in a planetary atmosphere. (according to canon anyway)The magnetic field of the planet interfers with the magnetic containment chamber.

Why would Atlantis' communication systems be using radio?

You know... I'm deeply disappointed that you decided not to finish and simply moved on to all your newest and latest story ideas. Though I do wonder if you've even finished any of them as many as you have, and have posted over the last four years. Yet, if you were to so inclined, I would still desire to find out what happens. So, do you think you have it in you to finish this, an old story of yours?

interesting but Weir and Sheppard would not become romantically invovled. and Mkay has seen someone feed on before. when Sheppard, in season two I think, got captured by Kolya and we meet Todd the friendly wraith.

You've got the beginnings of a wonderful story here. I hope you resume it one day. Even so, you've wrapped up this set of plot lines nicely enough that the story is sufficient as is.

oh, wow. I don't know where to start. It is an incredible fusion b/w StarTrek and Atlantis. the characters' portrayl is superb and perfect entertainment, a delight for the fans. The realism pouring from merging and bridging these two different universes together is quite the testament of creative thinking. You've done justice to both. Now there are a few pointers or ideas giving the spread knowledge of howthe SG stories ended and the possibilities offered to find the solution to their predicament. For one there is the quantum mirror device that transported Dr Jackson to a parallel universe or McKay's bridge theory, or the time when there were many SG1s due to the shape charge in the wormhole traversing a blackhole. I'm sure of course u've thouught of how to bring them back but we could make McKay shine once more with a lemon twist. There is always the possibility of introducing another race as powerful and as impressive as the ancients. It makes exploration worth the while. Anyway, excellent job. I await patiently for the continuation of this story. I know it takes time to write it. I have the same problem.
