If I can make a suggestion. Can you either state in the description that they don't have a HEA or add Isabella to the list of characters for those of us who can't stand Edward and her together.

I stopped at Chapter 13 and read the reviews cuz nothing was making sense,and boy am i glad i did instead of making myself suffer through this fanfic that is obviously just one big soap fest. i can't understand how all these twilight fic writers always write Jake as this immature and insensitive over hormonal jerk. like really? But the reason for bella leaving and alice's explanation leaves sooo much to be desired. ugh! i'm angry with myself for sticking with it this far. i am so done now.

Ugh. I'm really upset that I just spent hours of my life reading this story. The Jacob/Edward tag was misleading given the ending. And the story, IMO, didn't even make sense once Alice gave her explanation. I'm sorry to sound so mean, but I really wish I could unread this. Wow. Just wow.

Edward is such a bastard, exploiting the imprint to get Jacob into bed. And why did you make Jacob stupid and pathetic enough to sleep with him? Canon Jacob would've told him to fuck off, he wouldn't be a married man's piece on the side. Why didn't you warn the readers that the ending would be wrong?

I really feel that there should be some kind of warning placed in the first chapter warning that the ending will NOT end with E/J. I feel like I've wasted my time reading something that didn't even end with the two characters being completely happy, although yes, it was a conscious decision on my part to read this, etcetc.
Edward basically acknowledges that he does love another, and since he has the entire rest of eternity, it would not be a stretch for him and Jacob to get back together again. Despite that, I don't know what I was expecting as over the chapters, repeatedly, they said they could not be together. Sure, but once Renesmee grows up, or ages, whatever, it could be possible as Edward will (as he notes) never be able to love Bella completely again, and Renesmee is literally the reason he is staying.
What is never resolved is the whole "What did Jacob do to deserve this?" It wasn't a bittersweet ending for Jacob, it was painful and I had a extremely hard time believing it ended like that for him. Just looking at the last line of the epilogue makes me angry, its not plausible as Jacob is going to stop phasing... aghgfg
Overall, I'm extremely angry and sorely disappointed in this fanfic, but it was a temporary good read.

Not a bad little drama/romance story and am sad that Jacob and Edward didn't end up together.

At first... I kind of liked this story. Had minimal Bella, was pretty good in general with the grammar and plot... but now I'm unsure.

When reading Edward x Jacob fanfiction, ESPECIALLY an imprint fic, I have come to expect either Jacob dead because of a denied imprint or a happy ending between him and Edward. Also, even if there was the drama genre, it seemed to play out strangely for that type of story. It was really anticlimactic for Jacob to just leave and not fight for Edward and the ending itself was disappointing in its own way.

I loved the chapters with no Bella because that was truly an Edward x Jacob fic... but when Bella came back it was very... I don't know how to describe it... there was just nothing left to it, ya know? Even if you were to write a sequel at this point, what would it even be about if you had already said time and time again from both Edward's and Jacob's point of views that they would not be together? Would it be about how Edward is miserable and not truly belonging with Bella and the kid? I do not see any point in a sequel to this, I'm sorry.

I wish you would've warned that it would not be a happy ending or even that they really don't end up together. I partially blame myself for not reading the reviews before the chapter like my friend does to find out if anything bad happens. I am not sure if I would've kept reading if I knew how the end would play out.
