I think it’s a great ending having a few of the Unspeakables making the ultimate sacrifice for the project they have worked on for so many years & to save Harry and all Britain. Very believable. I love how this story is original in taking a group that is usually just spoken of in passing and said to only study magic, and turning them into the MI6 of magic. They are fighters for the Light, not just researchers. Also David’s addiction comes back to bite him, not in death but in guilt...very ironic, but poetic. His best friend gave his life for him, not by choice, but by luck. |
