Mmm, beautiful. The flow, structure, and diction of your writing is just wonderful. I'm usually not a fan of first-person POV in fanfiction, either, and you made that work too.

I also want to commend you for having a grasp of how a person's neuroses and sense of self-worth can affect their relationships, and also for putting that across well in your writing. Some people are probably hounding you for developing Edward and Russel's relationship so slowly, but I think that's great, considering how you chose to write Edward as a character. So keep on goin' like you're goin'.

All in all, this is a great story. It is JUST what I look for in fanfic, and I will be eagerly awaiting another installment. Keep up the great work.

Yay! I'd hoped that you'd do another chapter! Edward's analyzation of the situation is really well done and accurate for someone who has panic-induced hallucinations. The metnal issues he faces a pretty on the nose. His relationship with Russel is interesting as well, not too rushed and the way Edward sort of tests the water is convincing. I can't help but wonder if Edward would be more suspicious of Russel's motives though?

Every chapter has me dying for the next one! I normally don't like yaoi relationships (they are usually very out-of-character), but you handle it so delicately and so well that it's beautiful. One can't stop watching as these characters fall and pick themselves up again over and over.

I just hope Ed tells Russell about the shower incident eventually! It's really not good to hold it in that long...
