Oh this story was so good! I loved Sam and Dean in this and their voices were perfect, the characterization was so on point! Hurt/Comfort, whump, and brotherly feels are my jam and this story delivered it all amazingly well lol!
I also liked the case too, that was done really well and I like that for a second, I DID actually question if it was a serial killer over a ghost. It was quite compelling!

I definitely enjoyed this fic! I'm currently a newcomer to Supernatural (just started watching season 2), and this definitely feels like it could have been a legitimate episode. You covered all the bases-there's an actual case to solve, some action, some horror, some family issues to deal with for the boys, and some great family interaction going on in general.

The OC's didn't feel invasive or over the top. Rachel and her grandfather in particular felt like the usual single-episode side characters the brothers often run into on their cases, and I didn't get any Mary-Sue vibes or see any bland characterizations. They felt like people, which was great.

And of course, Dean being sick but still a determinator was quite a highlight in the fic while still feeling true to character. He's always so devoted to protecting his little brother in canon that I could totally see him forcing himself to work through a particularly nasty bout of flu if Sam's life was on the line. Though it was also nice to see Sam looking out for Dean for a change while he was sick (for the parts he was around for, anyway) since he doesn't seem to get to do that as much in the show (at least as far as I am).

All in all, a very entertaining fic. Thanks for sharing!

I enjoyed this adventure immensely. I love stories where the Winchesters unite with locals to solve the mystery and slay the supernatural.

I hope you become inspired by season 7 and the rerun epsisodes and write more fanfiction. I'm leaving you on author alert so I won't miss any new stories.

I can't help but agree with Sam in being angry about their father sending no messages with the coordinates.

It wouldn't have taken John Winchester an exta 90 seconds to add a message that he was glad to hear Dean was healed and that he is happy the boys are watching one anothers' backs.

Love. This. Story. Cheers for writing one of the best episodic plots I've read (I let me tell you, I've read a few). Hope you keep up the writing, 'cause you are gifted!

Brett Wilde? Danny Sinclair? Persuaders anyone? Haha, that was my favorite part of this whole story. I mean, I really liked all of it; it was really well written, but I just can't believe you've actually seen that show. I thought I was the only one. Anyway, loved it. You're an awesome writer. :)
