i like how you kinda made ryuuzaki and L two different charactzers and how the kiss was for ryuuzaki and that L was still affected

Recently, I did something a tiny bit similar (with the cake part at the end, and really, just L's excitement about Light eating cake), but I wrote and posted it -before- reading this. I mean, it's barely similar at all, but when I was reading this fic I saw what could be interpreted as me copying you, and I just wanted to get it out there that I didn't plagiarize your work. :) Sorry that was awkward *sweat drop*

ANYWAY, loved the tie-in with the Bible verse. Very, very cool. As usual, great fic. :3

Also, I had to actually stop and look up a few of the words you used. I now know the word conflate, and I think it's an excellent word. Useful in the Death Note fandom!

wow, I got this rec'd and it was really worth the read...the humour was totally worthy of deathnote! The firstbit with the hair cut was a really original but appropriate idea and great to ease into the fic. I loved the part about thinking Matsuda is stupid. :)

There's something really depressing about this narration, and the prose is quite beautiful. I especially love the first part with the barbershop. So clever. SO well written. :)

Your writing continues to amaze me; you give all of your characters such depth. You completely captured L and showed him a light that we rarely see him in, and the diferentiation between L and Ryuzaki really got to me. That last line was brilliant, as were all the others.

That was...wow. Deep stuff.

Oh my God, this is incredible. I'm typically not a fan of guy-on-guy (unless it's canon), but this is AMAZING. It's so perfect, and you kept the substance of each character - especially L. Wow. This is definitely going on my favorites list. Don't stop writing! :)

Oh, beautiful work... so melancholy, and so very much inside of L's head. I love the way it evolves to that point there in front of the refrigerator and - well - "that's for Ryuzaki" is just too wonderful for words. The whole thing's wonderful, in particular the fact that "he's always thought it would be... louder."

...I'm going to go out on a limb, though, and admit that, while I loved the quote from Joshua there at the end, the word "straight" almost killed me. My brain is seriously lame.

Heehee, L thinks too much. But that's why we love him! And Light also thinks too much, but in a scarier way... unless his mind is wiped, and then it's OK. And yay for thoughts leading to ACTION! Teehee, heehee. Very pretty and very YAY. I like. Have you noticed?
