I only really found the Nanoha series half a year ago, and haven't read many fanfics yet (nor had time to write my own, other than a few scenes), but here I found one by someone I recognised.

I liked the way Nanoha isn't as collected as she usually is otherwise. The reason isn't bad either, which often is the case just to bring more drama into a fic. Anything that prevents her from protecting people with full power isn't something she likes.

I'm not a yuri-fanboy, but I don't mind it either. As long as any relationship is written well, it's all good. So, I think your view of Nanoha's and Fate's relationship works well, and the teaser at the end doesn't detract either, even if it's pure fluff and fanservice.

That last line was pure gold.

Oh, and as for the rest of the fic: I loved it. XD Loveloveloved it.

Why hello there, just backlog breaking. I must say I laughed so hard during the kiddy scenes. They were so ironic and cute. Hayate should bet high because she is going to win. Those scenes really eased the tension from the intense emotional scenes with Nanoha. Cute and a little sad. Loved it.

You are one of my favorite new authors here, and this short proves why. You have a sense of continuity that is floaty yet solid, like a sense of direction in a vast pathwork of strings. This is good Nanofate, using the cannon to make a fun little short work.

That’s what I like about Fate; she’s the only one for Nanoha. There’s no one capable of bringing her back to her senses when it comes to Vivio; her life belongs to them after all.

Awesome one-shot as always. The confrontation between Nanoha and Shamal was my favorite part. Shamal would not break under the anger of the white devil.

I like how you wrote this short, the final scene since Fate is asking to Nanoha to open the door was especially great, their attitudes seemed very appropriate for the situation, and the outcome was sweet.

Your Vivio/Lutecia moments, and motherly/wifely Fate is always appreciated.
